If you love glamping, reading and summertime fun, you're in luck — Hyatt just announced its new Camp Unwritten experiences at select Under Canvas properties this summer. The Camp Unwritten experiences, which you can now book through the Hyatt Find experiences program, let members enjoy chef-prepared meals, fireside chats and book-inspired experiences while glamping alongside bestselling authors and other literature fans.

Camp Unwritten experiences, which will roll out over the course of this summer, are a collaboration between World of Hyatt, Reese's Book Club and Under Canvas. "With BookTok, Bookstagram, experiential travel and outdoor adventures all having a moment, we saw the perfect chance to bring it all together," Laurie Blair, senior vice president of global marketing at Hyatt, said in a press release. "Camp Unwritten lets our members unplug and capture that leading role feel — cozy reads by the fire, wide-open skies and a setting straight out of a summer novel. It's one more way we're continuing to lean into experiences for members that spark joy and connection."

We recommend calculating your redemption rate if you're considering redeeming Hyatt points for a Camp Unwritten experience. TPG's June 2025 valuations peg the value of Hyatt points at 1.7 cents each, so you'll ideally want to get at least this value from your points if you redeem.

If you book a paid experience instead of redeeming points, you'll earn 10 points per dollar. Plus, if you pay with your World of Hyatt Credit Card (see rates and fees) or World of Hyatt Business Credit Card (see rates and fees), you'll earn 4 bonus points per dollar on your Find experience.

Bottom line

These Camp Unwritten experiences look pretty epic, especially if you love the book or the author that a given session is planned around.

Note that the experiences have limited availability, so you'll want to book quickly if you feel passionate about attending a specific session. But, even if you miss out on these experiences, you can still enjoy a complimentary Headspace subscription for a year if you book a stay at any Under Canvas property or Ulum location during June for later this year. Plus, you can enroll until Sept. 14 to earn one American bonus mile per dollar spent at participating Under Canvas locations when you book a stay through Hyatt that you complete between June 15 and Sept 15.
