10 early Amazon Prime Day deals for travelers

Editor's Note
Quick summary
Amazon Prime Day starts at 12:01 a.m. PDT on July 8 and runs until midnight on July 11. But before this four-day summer sale for Amazon Prime members kicks off, Amazon is already rolling out some early deals as we head into the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
Here are some of TPG's favorite travel essentials — and a great deal on gas for your road trip — that are already discounted in the lead-up to the 2025 Prime Day sale.
Save $1 per gallon of gas July 3-6

Prime members who link their accounts to BP's Earnify app can save 10 cents per gallon of gasoline at thousands of participating Ampm, Amoco and BP locations nationwide year-round. But from July 3 through July 6, Prime members with linked accounts can save $1 per gallon of gas. (This offer is limited to one purchase of up to 35 gallons.) To find the nearest participating station, use the Earnify app's locator function. At the pump, select the specific station and pump in the app or input the linked phone number or payment method to earn the deal. Learn more.
